Winemaker's Comments
Atop a hilly vineyard in Lake County, our Petite Sirah vines grow deep into rocky soil. In the bright afternoon sun, these pieces of rock sparkle like diamonds and trap the heat into the soil for the long, cool nights. The result is a wine rich in color and concentration with hints of cherry and black fruits. Beautiful balance and velvety tannins lead into a long and expressive finish. This wine would pair nicely with a spicy sausage pasta or grilled venison.
