Winemaker's Comments
The Cépage blend that we create here at Zina Hyde Cunningham is a combination of all five of the main Bordeaux varietals. When creating a blend we look at balance as well as individuality. We are known for the unique characteristics of the variety of blends that we make. We enjoy and pride ourselves in this reputation. Our 2004 Cépage carries aromatics of cherry, vanilla, cassis & almond liquor, which unite on the palate with flavors of green peppercorn, oak & leather. Persistence echoes in the finish with cassis and powdery tannins that wane into fresh strawberries and cherries.
